New episode of the podcast now available on all major podcast platforms under “Elephant in the Womb”.
For Endometriosis Awareness Month, I’ll be amplifying the voices of 4 people with endometriosis. Here is Jo’s story – so thankful for all my guests for sharing with me on the podcast, as always! I hope this helps raise awareness for endometriosis – which impacts approximately 1 in 10 women. Diagnosis often takes years, and treatment options are limited. There is no cure – and the disease can be incredibly debilitating, as you’ll learn from the episodes.
This episode is Tara’s story. We talk about her experiencing over years with endometriosis. Her diagnosis, surgeries, medications and more. We also walk about managing endometriosis with mental illness, and how endometriosis can impact more than just the person who experiences it.
If you’d like more information on Endometriosis, listen to the podcast! We learn so much from the lived experiences of those who it impacts.
