Medicated Birth, Induction, Pre-Eclampsia and More: Episode 2 of the Podcast is Live!

The podcast is available on almost every platform you can imagine (including: Apple, Google, and Spotify, among others), however it is also available under the “Podcast” tab above!

Please note: I had some issues with the sound this week – I know not all my guests have a fancy mic set up like mine, so this is something I worked on when editing. Please be aware this is a work in progress, and I’m always looking for ways to improve! Also there may be some background noise as I recorded with Maggie! 🙂 Mom life.

This week we are talking to Darlyn, who you can read more about below. She spoke about her medicated birth experience, as well as her induction and sudden diagnosis with pre-eclampsia.

Other topics that are covered include navigating maternity care as an LGBTQ+ couple; having your rainbow baby; and more.

Here is a bit more about Darlyn:

My name is Darlyn, and I’m a 31 year old mama from Wisconsin! I love baseball, Harry Potter, and a good cup of coffee. My son is 10 months old and was born after being induced at 37 weeks due to a sudden development of preeclampsia.

Stay tuned for the second part of this episode next week – with Paige, who will also be talking about her medicated birth experience.
