The Podcast is Live! Birth Experiences Series, Episode I: Unmedicated & Water Births with Jess and Rebecca!

I am SO excited to announce my podcast is live! This is my very first episode – so there are some minor things that I will fix for next episode, such as the sound (a bit of an echo early on). Please find the Spotify player below for those of you who do not use another podcast app or Apple Music – please be advised that it takes awhile for Apple to upload the castbut it will be there shortly (and as a result will be available on many other platforms including Castbox). It is currently also available on Anchor and Stitcher.

This episode is focused on unmedicated birth and water birth. My guests are Jessica and Rebecca, who you can read more about below! Other topics covered in this podcast include: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD), Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), doulas, nitrous oxide, and non-medicated pain management/coping techniques.

Here is a little more about the wonderful women I got to talk to:

Hey friends! I am Rebecca, and I reside in Ohio in the states. I’m a mom to a beautiful girl named Piper. I had a water birth, which was the most empowering decision I have ever made for myself. In fact, my birth influenced me to become a doula after discovering a passion for being an advocate for myself (and others) and finding empowerment in education. I invite you to check out my blog at to learn more about birth, motherhood, and creativity.

Hi I’m Jessica! I’m a 29 year old Canadian, married to my husband Steven and we have a 14 month old son named Landon. He arrived in June of 2019 and is the light of our lives. I had all my prenatal care, including my birth by midwives and did so unmedicated (with some laughing gas in there). I had a rough pregnancy but great birth experience!
